General announcements

Happy New Year!
New faces - introduce yourself, make them feel welcome
We have adjusted the schedule a little bit for Tuesday - Thursday
- 40 minutes of advisory
- Mindfulness and Natalie sessions are doubled up (each for half of advisory)
Sign up for skiing/snowboarding on Mike’s door; final numbers are due today
- all-school field trip next Tuesday
- three options: ski, snowboard, or play games in the lodge
Want to learn marimba? a drummer in Salida is offering lessons!
- sign up on Mike’s door; we’re looking for interest first, then we’ll think through logistics
Alisa Adams - counselor working in all the schools in BV and for Sol Vista in Salida
- able to work with students for free and will be here on Mondays if you want to talk
- doesn’t have to be a “big thing” - it's just helpful to talk to someone sometimes
- Alisa will be in advisories this week for "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind": connecting ideas about mental health to having a healthy body
