    • Early Release next Wednesday
  • Redirects
    • You can be redirected by any staff when you are in the Commons
      • The Commons should be a library-like environment
      • If you are in the Commons and aren’t working, be prepared to be asked what you’re doing by any teacher or staff
    • There are some serious actions that can result in you leaving for the day without getting three redirects first
  • Orange bike from BV bike library is for students to travel between CCHS and BVHS for classes - students shouldn’t be getting rides from other students or borrowing vehicles
  • Seniors - lots of senior work this week! be in the building.

  • Take care of your health! 
  • Clean off your laptop screen and keys (turn laptop off first) - advisors now have wipes to help with this
  • Jacque’s coffee shop is starting!
    • Bring money next Monday 
      • Black coffee $0.50, cream/sugar $0.75, flavored coffee $1.00
      • Tea and hot chocolate $0.75
  • Shelby should have bakery up and going, too - we’re waiting on that
  • Thanksgiving lunch Thursday
    • Lunch at 11:30
    • Clean-up - we’ll all pitch in until it’s done
    • Break until 12:30

  • Finish contract, then off for a week for break! but do your work first

  • Kitchen is closed - in advisories, talk about solutions so we can re-open
  • Please respect each other’s personal space (including lockers)
  • Lost and Found will be going to NewBees today or tomorrow - look through it today for anything that might be yours
  • District dress code reminders; let’s work on complying for everyone’s comfort
    • no clothes with inappropriate images, like drug references 
    • no muscle shirts or spaghetti straps
    • no showing belly and underwear
  • Big week for seniors: please expect to be here all day every day!

    • 2 points per day for elective classes (Choir, Ceramics)

  • Know your plan for earning your diploma - it’s not just about passing contract!
    • it’s crucial that you know where you are! how many credits, how many points towards each open credit
    • success does not just come from passing contract; you need to be earning credits regularly 
    • finish modules - open modules give you points for contract, but they don’t contribute towards your diploma until the module is finished

    What are MMMM?

    At the start of each week, the whole school gets together for a Monday Morning Meeting. Here, staff give general announcements, and teachers present their modules for the week. After the meeting, students create contracts, signing up for the modules they will take and other activities they will participate in.
