Jacob Fisher
Jake,
At the start of this school year, you were the “OG” student in the building with 12 credits left to go. You’re a shining example of what “putting your head down and getting it done” means. You had a goal to be able to graduate before December and you reached that goal way earlier than expected! During our time together, I watched you go from a squirrely senior to a grounded, responsible graduate in a few short months!
As a returning student with a history at CCHS, you really helped me become a stronger advisor and, as a result, helped me create a stronger advisory. You taught me to really look at the needs of my advisees in order to strengthen our community. Thank you for everything you taught me and for all of the advice you gave me and the others in our advisory, as well as the example you set for all the students in the school.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to not only CCHS, but to yourself - you did it!! Congratulations! Best of luck with all of your future adventures.

Logan McCain
Logan,
Congratulations, you made it happen! You faced adversity and setbacks and you can be proud that you pulled it off! Thank you for welcoming me as your new advisor these last two years. It has been great getting to know you.
You are a perceptive and loyal young man with a kind heart, and you earned your diploma in your own way, and for that you are to be celebrated. Your future is now wide open, and now I challenge you to go make of it whatever you desire. I know that the future will be bright, fulfilling, and complete with conviction.
Our planet and animals everywhere will benefit from your commitment and dedication.
I wish you the best of luck in your future, and would love to hear about your adventures in Japan!

Grace Schoger
Grace,
You and I came to CCHS the same year. Like any first-year teacher, I just survived. Now, students should never need to support their teachers. But many times, when my classroom was heading for chaos, I would look to you, and you would look back at me with an expression of understanding, agreement, or maybe, sometimes, sympathy. A thousand thoughts were exchanged in those glances. And that would be all I needed to get through the next part of class.
Grace, you grounded me. And more so, you’ve impressed the hell out of me. You have completed a dual-enrollment course with CMC, written a successful grant for our community, and have worked an internship as a paralegal this year, all while continuing to progress academically at the pace that you wanted. You have modeled hard work and shown other students what is possible, and have done it all with tasteful humility.
Congratulations on finishing your high school diploma on your terms! I can't wait to see where your journey takes you.
