General announcements
  • Second week of first contract
  • Today: elective, but no other advisory
  • Senior meeting next week
  • Students shouldn’t be going out the back door 
    • If you leave out the back door without communicating, that could be grounds for dismissal for the day
  • Computers: our laptops are actually good - please take care of them! 
    • The first time you log on to one of the computers here, it’ll take a while because it’s loading your profile. Be patient.
  • We were pretty lenient with school expectations last week because it was the first week of school - that was last week! 
    • It’s important to stick to our expectations with tardiness, language, behavior, etc.
    • Don’t be mean muggin’! Work hard. Be nice. 
  • The third BV Strong dinner is September 26. We are getting tables for the school. Come join us!
  • Mike will be out on Friday
  • Cory teaches one class at BVHS every afternoon. We’ll have a sub every day at 2:00 (Reba)

  • Seniors - Juli needs two students to plan the college trip week of Oct 17
    • October 20-21: senior college trip
  • Students who took CMAS last year: Juli is giving results back (will pull students out to see)
  • EQ survey is this week during Advisory
  • CMC classes: registration closes today
    • Great opportunity to get free college credit!
    • If you are taking a CMC class, we need a check to hold in the event you drop the class (we don’t deposit if you pass)

    What are MMMM?

    At the start of each week, the whole school gets together for a Monday Morning Meeting. Here, staff give general announcements, and teachers present their modules for the week. After the meeting, students create contracts, signing up for the modules they will take and other activities they will participate in.
