General announcements
  • Second week of check #14
  • Please put laptops away! If it doesn’t seem to be working, check with a teacher - don’t just leave it on the top of the laptop cart
  • Mike is still out with baby Gloria this week; Rachel is helping manage the school, Reba is here for support
  • Threats in school - don’t do it! we will take any threats seriously, even if you think they are meant as a joke
    • schools nathionwide are on high alert
  • Math will be in the Commons in the PM this week; students in other modules all need to be in classrooms
  • Government trip presentation to the School Board is this evening at 6:00 p.m.!

  • Testing reminder: April 19 and 20 (mostly on the 19th)
    • 19th: LA and math for 9th; PSAT for 10th; ACT for 11th
    • 20th: Science for 11th
    • it is important that you do well on these tests! besides helping you in all sorts of ways, it helps CCHS’s school grade, which is important to keep the school open

    What are MMMM?

    At the start of each week, the whole school gets together for a Monday Morning Meeting. Here, staff give general announcements, and teachers present their modules for the week. After the meeting, students create contracts, signing up for the modules they will take and other activities they will participate in.
