General announcements
  • Free Thinkers Day!
  • Overnight this Thursday/Friday
    • Thursday will be Friday class schedule and check
    • leave right after lunch
    • activities, games, dinner, movies, sleep, breakfast
    • return Friday mid-morning
    • if you need supplies (sleeping bag, warm clothes), talk to your advisor
    • no students driving
    • we need volunteers to help with meals (prep and clean-up) - if students don’t volunteer, they’ll be voluntold :) If you want a choice, sign up! 
    • thanks to Kile and Dylan for being our super student trip leaders!
  • Check this Thursday
    • 72 points minimum
    • 10 points from the overnight
    • modules are each 12 points this week
  • Jacque and Nomi have been awarded Optimist Students of the Year and will be recognized at a breakfast next Thursday
  • Sam and Ash are going to a diversity conference in Cherry Creek
  • McKenna, Tatem, Nyla are hosting a table at the Chocolate Lovers Fantasy
  • Some students want to start a Friday Student Lunch Club… more details to come!
  • Free Lunch is starting up again
    • keep in mind, there won’t be free lunches on early release days in the future

    • painting coffee cups ($3.00 for small mug, $5.00 for big one)

    • visit Denver Art Museum - Edward Degas exhibit!
    • eat breakfast with state Rep Jim Wilson and Senator Keri Donovan
    • tour State capital

  • Heritage Museum community service will start next Monday (during third block)

    What are MMMM?

    At the start of each week, the whole school gets together for a Monday Morning Meeting. Here, staff give general announcements, and teachers present their modules for the week. After the meeting, students create contracts, signing up for the modules they will take and other activities they will participate in.
